Cost
What custom furniture costs.
Custom furniture is priced piece by piece. Here is what moves the number, and how we arrive at yours.
What drives the price
- Wood
- Species and grade change the material cost more than anything else. Walnut and cherry cost more than oak, maple or pine.
- Size
- A bigger piece takes more wood, more machine time and more hands to move.
- Joinery
- Mortise and tenon, dovetails and other cut joints take hours. They are also why a piece lasts.
- Finish
- Oil, hardwax, lacquer or paint. More coats and more prep add time.
- Delivery or shipping
- Pickup, local delivery in Northwest Arkansas, or freight shipping quoted per piece by size, weight and distance.
How we quote
- Tell us what you want. A few photos, a sketch or a size is enough to start.
- We talk it through on a video call. Wood, finish, size and how the piece will be used.
- You get a written estimate. A clear scope and price before anything is built. 50% to start. The balance is due before the piece is picked up, delivered or shipped.
We don't compete on price. We build pieces meant to be kept.
